Hello guys! Today I’m here with my first freebie! I’ll try to release downloads as often as possible though! So yesterday I got to go to the Steelers vs Ravens game (wow what a game!). And me (being from the Baltimore area originally) am a Ravens fan (so I was happy with the game!). After coming home I decided to practice vectors since I’ve been wanting to get better at them, and what better image to practice on than the Ravens logo! It’s simple yet complex (by complex I mean a lot of sharp/curved edges and various shapes). So today I present to you the ravens logo!
The file is a PSD and comes with two versions of the logo, the classic “Flat” logo and the “Mac” styled logo. It’s not exact (I changed it up slightly, and I’m no vector artist so I couldn’t do it perfect) but it looks pretty dang good (I think!). And since it was all designed using shapes it can be scaled as large and as small as you want! Oh and also I’ve included two .icns files so you can easily assign either of the logos to an application on your computer to use the Ravens logo as an application icon!
Here’s the Classic “Flat” styled logo:
And here’s my “Mac” styled logo:
And because it was so fun to make I also give you an animation showing you a brief “tutorial” on how to make something similar. I originally was just going to use the built in Photoshop outlines to do the color layering but after trial and error I realized using that “smooths” the sharp edges so I just ended up drawing the shape 3 times.

nice job. logo looks nearly perfect, but for a vector id prefer a illustrator file.
